Product Development Manager

Responsible for planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including defining the product vision, designing the requirements, prioritizing the features and capabilities to be offered, and launching the product. The Product Manager leads new product development projects and the continuous improvement of its features and services. They manage the roadmap and ensure that the product supports Globe’s overall strategy and goals. They also manage the budget (CAPEX/OPEX). The Product Manager works closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Operations, and Aftersales teams to ensure revenue, customer support, and customer satisfaction goals are met.

• End-to-end delivery of initiatives under different products/services.
• Plan and ensure timely delivery based on product specifications.
• Collaborate with product managers and project managers to oversee all approved projects for the portfolio, ensuring features and benefits align with the business case, on time and within budget; actively manage risks/issues to minimize impact.
• Act as the internal product champion, providing support and training, responding to queries and tenders, and maintaining accurate product information (detailed product decks, features and benefits analysis, product manuals, user stories, etc.).
• Integrate stakeholder feedback into product design and enhancements; ensure products are operationalized.
• Ensure that project milestones are met within the approved budget and timeline.
• Own the process for prioritizing defect fixes and small product enhancements to balance customer satisfaction by prioritizing issues appropriately.
• Review user documentation and communicate changes clearly to internal and external customers to minimize inquiries.
• Manage product quality and cost: identify opportunities for cost reductions and quality improvements; work with operations to improve overall product quality.
• Align with other product groups to ensure alignment of developing products.
• Execute programs across applicable delivery platforms in coordination with software delivery teams and platform managers.

• 10-15 years in product development or product management; preferably in Telco, Internet, or Software Development.
• With technical knowledge; internet or tech savvy.
• Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Functional competencies: Product Strategy Formulation, Product Portfolio Management, Product Development, Product Financial Management, Resource Planning, Market Research and Analytics, Telecommunications, Business Analysis and Project Management.
• Graduate of a 4-year program in Business Management, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
