Purpose of the Position :

1.1 Responsible for product development, product management and plan for marketing

strategies of assigned product portfolio to achieve market profitability, target sales and

market share goals.

1.2 Execute marketing activities to grow the product portfolio and to meet sales targets per brand.

  1. Principal Accountabilities:

2.1 Must be the company's product champion based on the products assigned under his

portfolio.

2.2 To develop a cost-effective and thorough marketing plan for his product and implement

the marketing strategies that are written on it within the specified time frame;

2.3 To be aware at all times of all factors influencing the status of assigned products –

competition, pricing, government policies, drugstores and all channels of product

distribution

2.4 To assist the Training Manager in the development of teaching syllabus for the new

members of the Sales teams as well as during the conduct of relevant product training;

2.5 To periodically meet the Sales Teams under his care and initiate the updating and

enriching of their product knowledge;

2.6 To periodically meet with the top opinion leaders falling within the specialties under his

care and establish rapport with them;

2.7 To update the rolling forecast of his/her assigned product at the end of each month;

2.8 To carry out all assignments from the Sales and Marketing Manager considered as

supportive of implementing strategic projects.

2.9 Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate superior from time

to time to carry out business goals.

  1. Qualification Requirements

3.1 Education : College Graduate – College degree in business-related course with aptitude and

exposure to product management

3.2 Experience or Skills Required – With at least 3 years working experience in the same capacity

in pharmaceutical set-up Must have good verbal and written communication; Creative, Self-

Motivated; With good working knowledge in the conduct of market research and data

interpretation and analysis; Excellent analytical skills; Good technical background in product

development and management; keen to details

3.3 Computer Literacy and Excellent knowledge of various presentation mediums

3.4 Other Relevant Information – Must be mobile to conduct fieldwork in different locations in the
