About Chevron: a global energy company committed to responsible and innovative energy solutions. Responsibilities Maintains vendor master records in SAP – PC3-010 accurately and timely. Performs control checks in PC3-010 by identifying potential duplicate master data before creating new vendor master records in SAP-PC3-010. Ensures compliance of all vendor master maintenance requests to the standard supporting document matrix; conducts compliance screening (Sanction Party/Country, tax forms for withholding tax, Supplier Diversity Tagging). Validates information against supporting documents and performs independent third-party validation prior to vendor set up. Checks bank key/routing number validity (North America only) and maintains bank key records in PC3-010 and PC8 (Asia Pacific & Africa/Pakistan only). Reviews and corrects data exceptions identified by Data Quality Team on an ad-hoc basis; supports Data Quality Team and BU in developing SAP location rules. Initiates and performs Annual User Access Review; semi-annual reviews of inactive vendor employees and gatekeeper/approver reviews. Demonstrates process leadership to ensure quality decisions, policy compliance, and fiduciary oversight in Vendor Master processes. Maintains understanding of Vendor Master workflow, risks, and connections with other processes; applies risk-based approaches to issue resolution and process improvements. Seeks opportunities to streamline, standardize, and enhance controls while delivering results and maintaining strong internal controls (SOX). Performs Gatekeeping for Vendor Master Data maintenance and ensures timely responses to customer queries; supports business continuity and team deliverables. Initiates and implements process improvements to sustain/increase quality and efficiency. About You Our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity and innovation of our people. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills. Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused attitude. Ability to work with diverse teams and cultural backgrounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience in S4 Hana is an advantage but not required. Strong Accounts Payable background preferred.
