Java Spring Boot Engineer Join Macquarie Group to build award-winning digital banking platforms in a collaborative, purpose‑driven environment. You’ll work with a team of engineers on APIs that power our online and mobile banking services. Responsibilities Design, develop, test and maintain high‑quality Java 8+ services using Spring Boot. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. Own the complete lifecycle of applications: coding, automated unit and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and production support when required. Continuously improve automation, performance, and reliability of your services. Qualifications & Experience Hands‑on experience with Java 8+, streams and lambda expressions. Proficiency with Spring Boot and related API technologies. Experience implementing automated unit and integration tests. Working knowledge of SQL and JPA. Strong analytical skills and a systematic problem‑solving approach. Bonus if you have exposure to: Cloud platforms (preferred GCP). Basic scripting (Python, Unix/Shell). Prompt Engineering or AI tool integration.
