You’ll work with a team responsible for building the key APIs that power our award-winning online and mobile banking platforms. Your team has end-to-end ownership of the systems you build – this includes learning about the business, building and maintaining high quality software in a DevOps manner, helping automate its testing and delivery and, on occasion, providing production support for the broader team. What you offer Hands‑on experience with Java 8+, particularly streams and lambda expressions Hands‑on experience with SpringBoot and API technologies Experience in automated unit and integration testing Experience working with SQL and JPA Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically Experience with any of the following is advantageous but not required Cloud technologies, preferably GCP Basic scripting (such as python or Unix/Shell) Prompt Engineering, working with AI tools We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
