You will log into various systems and resolve problems or issues. You will review incidents, problems, and change requests on our Support Portal. Training will be provided in‑house and you will work with leading edge technology in blue‑chip multinational F&B companies. You will be based in Dublin; international travel is an important element of this position as some strategic clients are US‑based. What You Need: Graduate in computer science or mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering with a postgraduate degree in Information Technology or sufficient IT experience. At least 7 years’ experience in software projects delivery for process‑oriented environments. Industry knowledge in food and beverage processing is a plus. Actively participate in testing and computer system validation of the MES System and related configuration as required. History of supporting bespoke software applications is a requirement. Database: Knowledge of SQL Databases Good knowledge of T‑SQL codes, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers Diagnose and address operational data issues Microsoft SQL Management Studio SQL Server Profiler Experience with ETL, SSIS Programming: Knowledge of WPF, HTML5, .Net Framework, SSRS Reporting Visual Studio Telerik Software tools (a plus but not required) Technical - Other (Plus but not required): Windows / Network administration Internet Information Services (IIS) Power BI Data Warehouse Customer Support Ability to communicate regularly and effectively Expand on and clarify customer requests Replicate customer / application issues Diagnose root cause and document solution Resolve and / or escalation for resolution in a timely manner Prioritise issue resolution based on supplied severity General: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to multi‑task Good ability to comprehend technical information related to computer software, hardware, and networking Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Manufacturing (Plus but not required): Base knowledge of manufacturing processes/automation (Food and Beverage Industries) Analytical abilities Aspentech MES (plus) You will work to an ISO 9001 approved systems engineering methodology in the implementation of solutions in Ireland and overseas Fluent English and good customer interaction skills are essential About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
