- Posting of journals in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and post monthly accrual and prepaid expense journals.
- Posting of intercompany journals and reconciling intercompany trade accounts.
- Preparation and posting of general journals and resolution of queries from stakeholders.
- Completion of tasks assigned in month end accounting checklist.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Identify any area of weakness in controls and recommend/take action.
- Perform additional tasks as requested from time to time.
- Display innovation through inspiring, creating and improving processes and products.
- Assisting Finance Manager in filling & preparing Tax & Audit related reports.
- Show integrity in all aspects of the position by doing the right thing, taking responsibility and delivering on the promise.
- Display leadership values by ensuring effective communication and respecting your peers and managers. Support others within the team and empower each other wherever possible.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS What should the position holder be and have?
- Accounting degree / or qualification
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Above average excel skills
- Exposure to a multi-currency environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player with a desire to continuously improve processes with the ability to also work autonomously
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Possess good communication skills
