DWS continues its journey as a publicly listed asset manager since its IPO and has established its own corporate functions, including Global Procurement.

• Responsible for enabling reliable, compliant, and efficient procurement operations. Work closely with senior stakeholders, procurement and finance teams to enable and deliver procurement operations services within DWS globally across core procurement operations services: purchase order management, contract administration, helpdesk and user support.
• Deliver the vision and strategy, focusing on consistent operational excellence and user satisfaction through industrialisation, process optimization, and leveraging automation and technology to ensure service delivery and operations are fully aligned and integrated.
• Lead the Procurement Operations team, providing global oversight, working with DWS Divisions, Finance, Tax and the Global Procurement team to ensure client satisfaction, achievement of business goals, and risk management.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement through best practices, transformation and transition projects, and management of service provision.
• Stakeholder management and escalation handling; service oversight, governance, and management (including managing financials) of Procurement & Travel Operations services.

• Senior professional with a proven track record of accountability for managing global procurement or finance operations
• Senior leader focused on process optimization, operational excellence and end‑user satisfaction
• Proven experience overseeing outsourced providers/vendors, including service delivery management and contract management
• Degree from an accredited university in business administration, industrial engineering, or related field
• Proven leadership experience (10+ years) in a procurement or finance operations function, preferably within asset management, banking, or financial services
• Thorough understanding of the source-to-pay end-to-end process
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with hands‑on experience in business process and operational management for procurement or source-to-pay
• Ability to work independently with focus on results
• Strong English communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly to all seniority levels
• Experience in digital and data‑driven environments with interest in using advanced tools for process improvement
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP Ariba
