The Blood Bank Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe and quality patient care to patients under the supervision of the Unit Manager of the Blood Bank & Transfusion Services Unit.

His/Her duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing a safe, pleasant, and convenient environment for blood donors
  • Screening blood donors by conducting medical history interviews and obtaining vital signs
  • Providing pre-donation, post-donation care and discharge instructions
Qualifications

Minimum Educational Attainment: BS Nursing graduate with an active Professional License/Registered Nurse

Work Experience: At least six (6) months of experience as a Nurse
