About the job We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Sr. Specialist to support the company’s legal and labor compliance requirements. While the role does not require a licensed lawyer, the ideal candidate should have a strong background in legal documentation, labor relations, and regulatory compliance. This position plays a key role in ensuring the company adheres to DOLE Department Order No. 174, corporate governance standards, and labor laws, especially as the organization continues to expand. Key Responsibilities Legal Compliance Assist in ensuring compliance with DOLE DO174 and other labor-related regulations. Monitor and update legal documentation including service agreements, contracts, and company policies. Coordinate with government agencies (DOLE, SEC, BIR, LGUs) for permits, registrations, and legal filings. Support internal audits and legal risk assessments. Labor Management & Relations Assist in handling employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and labor disputes. Maintain documentation related to labor cases, investigations, and resolutions. Ensure proper documentation and legal handling of employee relations issues.Develop and train leaders on proper labor management. Corporate & Business Legal Support Draft and review contracts, MOUs, and legal correspondence. Support compliance with corporate governance requirements (e.g., SEC filings, board resolutions). Assist in legal due diligence for business transactions and expansions. Collaboration & Support Work closely with the HR team to ensure alignment of legal and HR policies. Provide legal insights during policy development, training, and employee communications. Coordinate with external legal counsel when needed. About you Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Law, or related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in legal or labor compliance roles. Familiarity with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and corporate legal practices. Strong documentation, research, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience working in a large organization or with government agencies. High attention to detail and confidentiality.
