Position Title Maintenance Electrician 08N25 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are operational, safe, and efficient. They must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize repair jobs, and maintain up‑to‑date maintenance of all electrical equipment. A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures is essential. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance of electrical systems in accordance with safety regulations. Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams, schematics, and test equipment. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a timely manner. Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components for faults. Ensure all electrical installations comply with codes and standards. Collaborate with engineers and other team members on projects and troubleshooting issues. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including servicing and repair activities. Plan and execute predictive maintenance to prevent electrical failures. Develop and follow work plans and schedules for electrical maintenance projects. Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide electrical support when required. Conduct risk assessments to determine where improvements can be made in safety. Train and mentor junior electricians or apprentices as necessary to ensure team competency. Qualifications Proven experience as a maintenance electrician or in a similar role. Comprehensive understanding of electrical wiring diagrams and blueprints. Knowledge of electrical construction, maintenance, and repair practices and procedures. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision. Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks performed. Ability to work flexible hours and respond to on‑call emergencies as required. Established track record in maintaining comprehensive and accurate maintenance logs.
