We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen interest in internet culture, pop culture, music, memes, and diverse video genres. This role demands proficiency in the latest NLE software and the ability to produce captivating video content tailored for various platforms. The Video Editor should be skilled in creating short form content and vertical videos.

Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Edit high-quality video content using the latest NLE software and tools, including but not limited to Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, and Photoshop.
  • Creative Storytelling: Develop engaging stories across multiple platforms, offering innovative ideas and crafting content specific to each platform.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all video content meets delivery specifications for social media, online platforms, and TV broadcast standards.
  • In-depth understanding of TikTok: Understand TikTok’s platform dynamics and trends to create engaging videos and enhance video content effectively.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee the entire editing workflow, from footage ingestion through revisions to final delivery and archival.
  • Efficient Editing: Utilize proxies for efficient editing and manage various video formats and resolutions.
  • Organizational Maintenance: Maintain an organized archival and drive storage system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques and continuously enhance editing skills, maintaining a strong interest in internet culture, pop culture, music, memes, and various video genres.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in NLE software such as Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, and Photoshop.
  • Highly preferred 1-2 years work experience.
  • Able to communicate directly with clients.
  • Ability to create compelling and engaging stories through video.
  • Skilled in creating short form videos, specifically for TikTok.
  • Skilled in creating vertical videos.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure content meets all delivery specifications for different platforms.
  • Capability to efficiently manage editing workflows, archival systems, and storage.
  • Deep interest in internet culture, pop culture, music, memes, and diverse video genres.
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest video editing techniques and trends.
  • Familiarity with Mac operating systems (Windows is a plus).
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for work-related assignments.
