Live Action Video Editor — Remote

This is a remote position. fewStones is a dynamic video production agency based in Singapore with over 10 years of experience, working with large and small companies. You can develop your skills, learn new ones and grow by taking charge of projects and interacting directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of editing works from splicing, to sound balancing, to color correction and color grading.
• Review the script to understand video production requirements.
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video.
• Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project.
• Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client specifications.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Previous work experience as a video editor with live action projects.
• Excellent sense of design and creativity applied to video editing.
• Ability to complete projects within given timeframes.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently; reliable internet connection.
• Hands-on experience with editing software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of color correction and color grading.

YouTube Video Editor — Part-time

About the Job: The video editor will edit videos for YouTube content. The job is for 10-20 hours per week. If you don’t know how to do all that, we will teach you; we’re looking for someone with experience and competence in video editing.

• Internet speed of at least 10 Mbps up and down.
• Self-motivated, excited to work, and pleasant to work with.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
