Overview

Position: Collections Support Department Head

Location: Metrobank Pasay, National Capital Region, Philippines

Job Summary

The primary objective is to ensure efficiency and effectiveness by providing timely and accurate intelligence and analyses of collections and recoveries performance. Oversee the department's systems and software, including databases and reportorial requirements; direct adherence to policies, mandatory instructions, and regulatory guidelines; manage support functions including vendor management for administrative tasks. Drive the MIS team to monitor strategies aimed at controlling credit losses and maximizing collections and recoveries.

  • Coordinate Collections Training
  • Ensure Quality Control
  • Manage Back Office Functions
Qualifications
  • 8–13 years of experience working with collections statistical data; at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
  • Strong/Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of IT, programming (e.g., SAS, SQL, VB, Sybase) and other call center technologies is a plus
  • Experience with automated collection systems (e.g., Cardlink, CACS) and predictive dialers (e.g., Aspect UIP and ALM) is advantageous
  • Broad understanding of credit card business segments and ability to relate unit operations and performance metrics to the overall business
