Medical Insurance Verification Specialist Medical Insurance Verification Specialist Location : Remote Type : Permanent- Full- Time US Business Hours About the Role: We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable Insurance Verification Specialists to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage and benefits for patients, ensuring accuracy in records, and supporting the billing process. You will work closely with our team to streamline insurance verification and maintain up-to-date records in our CRM system. Key Responsibilities: Receive patient lists containing demographics and basic insurance information. Log into insurance company portals to verify coverage and benefits for CPT codes. Call insurance companies directly if verification is not available online. Accurately document verification results in HubSpot. Ensure timely, consistent, and error-free updates of patient insurance information. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and escalate issues when needed. Qualifications: At least 2+ years experience in insurance verification, medical billing, or healthcare administration preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive patient data. Proficient in navigating insurance websites and handling verification calls. Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience a plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Reliable internet connection and ability to work in a remote setup.
