Auto Loan Remedial Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY The Auto Loan Remedial Supervisor oversees, coaches, and organizes the activities of Remedial Specialists and Field Work Officers involved in auto loan remediation. This role includes leading and managing external collection agencies, coordinating repossession and replevin activities, and ensuring efficient processes to minimize losses. Additionally, the supervisor coordinates with key personnel such as Sheriffs, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), and other relevant third parties to ensure the smooth execution of repossession processes. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Transfer Function Verify the accuracy of all account information to ensure a smooth handover. Notify borrowers of the impending transfer to a collection agency and provide the borrower with all necessary information to address the delinquency before the account is transferred. Negotiate service level agreements (SLAs). 2. Agency Management Function Target setting and communication. Track the performance of the collection agency, including recovery rates and compliance with agreed-upon practices. Require the collection agency to provide regular reports on the status of the accounts, including any payments received and actions taken. Oversee collection and repossession activities, ensuring they are conducted legally and efficiently. Report the progress and result of endorsed accounts assigned to designated collection agencies. Conduct regular review meetings with collection agencies and provide feedback. 3. Legal Function Connect with the documentation Department regarding the required documents needed by collection agencies and courts. Connect with the Legal Department for the issuance of Secretary Certificate, SPA and other legal documents required by collection agencies for repossession activities. 4. Repossession and Replevin Coordination Working closely with key personnel such as Sheriffs, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), and other relevant third parties to ensure the smooth execution of repossession processes. Keeping track of impounded or held vehicles to prevent loss of lien and ensuring all necessary claims are filed in case of damage or other issues. Adhering to all relevant policies, regulations and local laws, and maintaining high standards of service throughout the repossession and replevin processes. 5. Communication and Compliance Risk Management Developing and implementing action plans to address any compliance violations or crises that may arise. Liaise with internal stakeholders (Credit, Risk, Legal). Ensure transparent communication with agencies and borrowers. Provide regular progress reports to management. Manage and mitigate potential risks. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related course. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Remedial Management, Collections, or Credit Management. Strong Knowledge of Philippines laws and regulations governing vehicle financing. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills. Must be very detail-oriented so as to avoid the possibility of serious errors and loss. Proficient in MS Office/Google Documents, Excel/Google Sheets, and Powerpoint/Google Slides. #J-18808-Ljbffr
