Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated QA Analyst to join our team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for evaluating software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in software testing methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on software applications
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking tool
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met
  • Conduct root cause analysis and suggest improvements to enhance software quality
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning
  • Perform automated and manual testing as required
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry testing standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role
  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of automated and manual testing techniques
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent
  • Experience in performance and security testing
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
