Certified Human Resource Associate | Certified Lean Six Sigma White Belter | Civil Service Passer Electrical Engineer (PH-Based, Remote) – Permanent Work from Home Overview The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and integrating advanced electrical systems that power B.E.S.T.’s innovative solutions in healthcare, IoT, and sustainable energy. This role ensures all electrical designs and power systems across projects are optimized for performance, safety, and reliability while aligning with organizational goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in renewable energy—particularly solar PV systems, energy storage, and grid integration—and can balance deep technical expertise with hands‑on implementation. They are detail‑oriented, innovative, and results‑driven, with excellent problem‑solving skills. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. This is a full‑time, remote position. Application Form (mandatory – Failure to comply means application will not be entertained) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and Development: Design and develop electrical system architectures for the company’s products and projects, with an emphasis on renewable energy solutions such as solar photovoltaic panels, battery storage systems, inverters, and power management components. System Integration: Integrate solar PV arrays, energy storage units, and grid‑interactive components into IoT and healthcare technology projects, ensuring seamless, efficient, and safe operation of all electrical systems. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., software, mechanical, and product teams) to incorporate electrical requirements into product designs and ensure effective system integration in a remote work environment. Technical Documentation: Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings for hardware components (including circuits, PCBs, sensors, and power electronics), and maintain thorough documentation for all designs. Simulation and Analysis: Perform simulations and calculations to validate design performance—conduct load analyses, power output modeling for solar installations, and reliability testing for device power systems—to ensure designs meet performance targets. Testing and Troubleshooting: Prototype, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components, identifying and resolving issues in circuit design, power distribution, and signal integrity throughout the development cycle. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant safety standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NEC, IEC standards, and other electrical regulations) for quality and safety assurance. Deployment Support: Provide support during the installation or deployment of electrical systems, remotely guiding on‑site teams or partners for solar power installations or hardware implementations as needed, and assist in commissioning procedures. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in renewable energy, power electronics, and IoT hardware. Apply this knowledge to continuously improve system efficiency and incorporate innovative solutions into projects. Reporting: Compile and present technical reports, design reviews, and project updates to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Translate complex electrical engineering concepts into actionable information for project managers and non‑technical team members. Requirements and Qualifications Proven Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role, with significant hands‑on involvement in designing and implementing electrical systems—particularly in solar energy projects or power systems integration. Renewable Energy Knowledge: In‑depth understanding of renewable energy technologies, especially photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage, and power conversion (inverters, charge controllers, etc.). Experience with solar energy system design and grid integration is highly preferred. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using electrical design and simulation software tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, or similar). Familiarity with solar modeling software (such as PVsyst or HelioScope) and general CAD tools is a plus. Standards and Codes: Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC standards, and OSHA/EHS guidelines). Ability to design systems that meet compliance requirements and industry best practices. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and optimize system performance. Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross‑functional team environment coordinating with colleagues across different disciplines and time zones. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. (Master’s degree or specialized training in power systems/renewable energy is a plus.) Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or relevant certifications (e.g., NABCEP certification for solar energy professionals) are an advantage but not required. Domain Experience: Experience working on projects in healthcare technology or IoT device development is an advantage, demonstrating versatility in applying electrical engineering skills to various domains. International Collaboration: Experience collaborating with or supporting U.S.-based clients/teams (or other international stakeholders) is a plus, as our projects often engage global partners and adhere to international standards. Work Arrangement This is a full‑time position under a remote contractor agreement. Candidates must have access to a professional work‑from‑home environment and stable internet connectivity. Equal Opportunity Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
