Content Specialist

Overview

Content Specialist | Content Operations. The Content Specialist participates in an Editorial or Content Operations team and assists in the creation and/or acquisition, preparation and delivery of assigned content and information for creating products and product functionality in all publication media (print or electronic).

• Publishing: Analyzing, keying, converting, coding, copyreading, editing, merging, rendering, loading, or validating data. Supports team publishing goals by meeting deadlines.
• Quality Control: Ensures accuracy and completeness of work product. All work will be checked until competent process knowledge is developed.
• Individual and Team Skills: Attend and participate in team meetings, prioritize own work, and participate in performance management processes (e.g., peer reviews, self-evaluation).
• Content acquisition: Acquire manuscripts or core content, analyze manuscripts and electronic files, coding (mark-up of data) and resolving coding errors, manuscript editing, compiling and editing content, proofreading and copy reading, quality control and verification.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately key, convert, code, and edit data.
• Proficient in copyreading, proofreading, and editing, with a keen eye for detail to ensure quality and accuracy of content.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and support team publishing goals effectively.
• Experience in content acquisition, including manuscript analysis, coding, and error resolution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to participate actively in team meetings and performance management processes.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks independently while maintaining high standards of work quality and completeness.
• Candidates must be willing to work in McKinley Hill, Taguig — 2 days in the office, 3 days at home.
• Must be a Bachelor's degree holder.
• Must be willing to work on any shift and shifting schedule.
