About The Team & Business Line

Proprietary software solutions and innovation differentiate Citco in the alternative investment space. Our Global QA team ensures clients maintain access to critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Your Role
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, creation and execution of manual tests to validate the quality of applications under test on agile methodology using Scrum.
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders to define suitable testing strategies based on project characteristics.
  • Focus on test automation, with manual testing as needed based on project requirements.
  • Create, maintain, optimize and execute manual and automation test scripts that are scalable, high-performing, maintainable and of high quality.
  • Collaborate as part of the IT team responsible for development and support of IT applications in an agile process.
  • Interact with Global Citco QA team, development and business analysts, and other technical groups.
  • Participate in peer reviews of manual and automation test scripts to ensure adherence to testing standards.
  • Produce QA status reports and support the defect management process.
  • Work closely with the Scrum team and report on assigned tasks to the QA Lead/Manager.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks.
About You
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in an agile testing role.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a functional/automation testing or development role.
  • Experience with JIRA, Xray, Confluence.
  • 2-3+ years’ experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, REST API and Playwright.
  • Background in QA processes, Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Ability to set priorities with high accuracy; proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, complex business & IT environments; able to work under pressure independently or as part of a team.
  • Accurately evaluate and report test results, progress and product quality.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification is a distinct advantage.
