Job Overview

Take the project engineer role for NPI projects according to the responsibilities defined in LeadPD procedure TEC-407-522-DND. Collaborate with PJM and Ops cross-functional teams to establish the project team and lead it to achieve project goals, including tooling/process development timelines, and manage project capital and expenses within budget.

Job Responsibilities
  • Planning and Budgeting
    • (i) Identify project goals and scope for manufacturing process development.
    • (ii) Develop project framework and timeline, utilizing WBS to define deliverables and tasks.
    • (iii) Create project capital and expense plans, capacity planning, cost models, and project P&L.
    • (iv) Establish tooling development timelines, including tooling qualification, sample making, and delivery.
    • (v) Plan infrastructure, manpower, and material resources to support all builds in the plant.
  • Project Execution
    • (i) Set up the project team within Ops and allocate resources accordingly.
    • (ii) Lead Ops functions to complete tasks on time and within budget.
    • (iii) Coordinate with PJM to review and monitor progress, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to the project timeline.
    • (iv) Manage scope changes effectively.
    • (v) Drive timely sample delivery, material preparation, tooling, and documentation completion.
    • (vi) Lead safe launch and qualification planning to ensure on-time completion.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, accountability, integrity, customer focus, and results-driven attitude.
Background Expectations

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience; a Master's degree or higher may be preferred.
