The Role This role focuses staying current with tax regulations, managing risks, spotting planning opportunities, and clearly communicating tax matters with clients and colleagues. Responsibilities Developing and applying knowledge of domestic tax laws, regulations, and case law Preparing accurate and comprehensive tax analyses and computations Using tax research, software, and technology tools efficiently Managing tax risk and identifying planning opportunities Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to firm and regulatory policies Staying up-to-date with technical knowledge through training and applying it to client work Discussing tax issues with clients, authorities, and colleagues Analyzing authorities and reaching conclusions on moderate complexity issues Applying changing tax laws and regulations to client engagements Reviewing and evaluating junior staff's work and participating in issue evaluations Preparing clear and well-reasoned technical tax analyses.
