Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a People Operations Coordinator . You will support the HR function by assisting with people operations activities and ensuring smooth execution of HR processes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about HR and People Experience, have excellent organizational skills, and a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities Employee Experience

• Work with the People team to deliver an empathic and customer service-focused experience for everyone at Deputy.
• Provide support to employee questions and inquiries, delivering high-level customer service while innovating and advancing our People Operations backbone.

HR Administration

• Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, employee change requests, and maintaining personnel records.
• Operate within a global team (Australia, US, UK, India), including delivery of new hire orientation and onboarding sessions in Australia.
• Coordinate HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, change letters, and HR-related correspondence in Rippling, and performance reviews in Lattice.
• Manage employee data in our HRIS (Rippling) ensuring data accuracy and integrity; support employee experience processes (e.g., referral payments, sign-on bonuses).

Systems, Automation & Reporting

• Ensure QA processes are followed for all data entry tasks.
• Develop automation of HR processes in Rippling to reduce manual tasks.
• Own the People Confluence space and HR Google Drive, keeping documents up-to-date and accurate.
• Maintain the People Ops playbook with documented processes and links.
• Administer Lattice including Surveys, RAD Review Cycles, and Updates.
• Report on people initiatives as required (Surveys, RAD Review Cycles, Impact Conversations).

Employee Relations

• Zendesk triage with a 24-hour response time across tickets.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding People policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Assist with employee relations documentation, including disciplinary actions and performance management processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field desirable.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
• Knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS software; experience with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms is preferred.

Note: This role will be working remotely and on a fixed-term contract.
