Job Overview
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the restaurant, ensuring its seamless operation in alignment with the franchise's standards. This role involves leading the team, enhancing operational workflows, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving profitability, all while upholding the brand's reputation and consistency.
Your Responsibilities:
Ensure Brand Compliance : Uphold the brand’s global standards in food quality, service, and customer experience, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
Oversee Daily Operations : Manage both front-of-house and kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency in service, cleanliness, and food preparation.
Lead and Develop Staff : Recruit, train, and supervise staff to meet franchise standards, fostering a high-performance team culture.
Enhance Customer Experience : Ensure consistent, exceptional service, promptly address customer issues, and implement strategies to improve satisfaction.
Monitor Financial Performance : Assist with budgeting, manage costs, and optimize resource allocation to meet profitability goals.
Manage Inventory and Supplies : Oversee inventory control, work with suppliers, and ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
Ensure Health & Safety Compliance : Maintain a clean, safe environment in line with local regulations and brand food safety standards.
Conduct Quality Control : Regularly audit operations to ensure food quality, consistency, and brand standards are met.
Implement Marketing Strategies : Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns and promotions that align with brand goals.
Report and Document Performance : Provide regular updates on financials, operations, staffing, and customer feedback to senior management and the franchisor.
Serve as Franchise Liaison : Act as the main point of contact between the restaurant and the franchisor, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and strategies.
What our Client is Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field. Certifications in food service management are a plus.
- Experience in restaurant operations, with a preference for experience in a franchise environment. Experience managing foreign or multinational restaurant brands is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of franchising operations, particularly in the food and beverage sector.
- Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and overseeing P&L statements.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams across various departments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working effectively with both staff and the franchisor's corporate team.
- Strong customer service focus, committed to operational excellence.
- Ability to maintain consistent quality and service throughout all restaurant operations.
- Familiarity with local health regulations and adherence to global franchise standards.
