We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.

This is a full-time role, Mid Shift, and on a Work in Office (WIO) set-up.

Major Responsibilities & Duties:
  1. Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  4. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  5. Bookkeep and maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions.
  6. Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance reports to the BIR and other government agencies.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
  8. Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  9. Provide support to billing, treasury, accounts payable and other subfunctions with Tahche Accounting and Finance department.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Experience with Quickbooks, ApprovalMax, preferred.
  10. Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and PFRS (Philippine Financial Reporting Standards).
