Enterprise IT Strategy & Delivery Consultant – Banking (Philippines) Overview

The Role: The Enterprise IT Strategy & Delivery Consultant will support the CIO in shaping and executing the strategic vision for information technology, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with the organization’s mission and business objectives.

This role shall temporarily augment the overseeing and collaborating functions with IT team leaders and staff to develop detailed project plans and timelines, monitor progress and outcomes, and drive team development and coordination across IT Solution Delivery units, Project Management or equivalent unit, and other internal stakeholders of the bank.

Responsibilities
  • Four units will be supervised: Solution Architecture, Solution Delivery and Integration, and Enterprise Automation Solutions.
  • Provides strategic leadership and executive-level guidance in critical areas of IT solutions delivery to support the organization’s overall objectives.
  • Oversees cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships to deliver effective computing and technology services across the central IT organization.
  • Assists the Chief Information Officer, in partnership with the Enterprise Architecture Head, in leading IT strategic planning by prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technology projects.
  • Supports the CIO in governance oversight, project and portfolio management, and service delivery execution to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • May directly manage key services or units within the division that have broad institutional or Bank-wide impact.
  • Leads the planning, development, and implementation of information technology initiatives, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards.
  • Drives the adoption of best practices and standards across process design, system architecture, and operations to ensure efficient and effective service-oriented IT delivery.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate submission of all required reports, maintaining completeness, quality, and compliance with reporting standards.
Other Responsibilities
  • Ensures compliance with internal Audit, Risk, Information Security, and Compliance policies, as well as applicable government and regulatory requirements, and cascades these standards to the team to ensure organization-wide adherence.
  • Oversees budget planning and monitoring activities for the IT Solutions Delivery function, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time in support of the bank’s goals.
