Key Responsibilities Act as the owner’s HSE representative on‑site, ensuring all activities align with contractual and regulatory obligations. Monitor contractor HSE performance and escalate non‑compliance issues to the owner. Participate in project meetings and provide HSE updates to the owner. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and verify compliance. Review and approve contractor safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements. Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Ensure adherence to environmental permits and local regulations. Monitor waste management, pollution control, and site sustainability practices. Support implementation of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Ensure contractors conduct appropriate HSE training and toolbox talks. Promote a safety‑first culture across all site personnel. Verify that emergency response plans are in place and tested. Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions. Prepare HSE reports for the owner, including risk assessments and compliance summaries. Ensure all documentation is complete for project handover and regulatory review. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience in safety, health, and environment in construction site setup, preferably a power plant. Valid First Aid, COSH for SO2 or COSH training + LCM for SO3 accredited by DOLE. Solar PV and BESS experience is an advantage. Able to work with minimal supervision and tight deadlines. Willingness to be assigned onsite on a project basis.
