Job Summary The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of company operations — from business development and project execution to financial performance and team management. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience in the construction industry , strong business acumen, and the ability to build systems and processes that support a fast-growing startup. Key Responsibilities Provide overall strategic leadership and direction to the company’s operations, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. Oversee project management, construction operations, and quality assurance to ensure timely and cost-efficient completion. Develop and implement business strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives. Manage budget planning, cost control, and financial performance across all departments. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and accountability. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders . Identify new business opportunities and spearhead project bidding and negotiation efforts. Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols . Report directly to the Board of Directors on performance, opportunities, and risk management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration , or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the construction industry , including 5+ years in a senior management or leadership role . Proven track record in project management, business development, and operational leadership . Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project cost management . Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup or fast-paced environment .
