Overview

The Workforce Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the workforce within the organization. This includes managing staffing levels, scheduling, forecasting, and monitoring of workforce metrics to ensure optimal resource allocation and productivity. The role involves collaborating with various departments to align workforce strategies with business objectives and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• 1. Develop and implement workforce management strategies to meet business objectives and operational requirements.
• 2. Lead a team responsible for forecasting staffing needs, scheduling resources, and managing workforce performance.
• 3. Analyze historical data and current trends to forecast future staffing requirements and ensure adequate coverage.
• 4. Monitor real-time adherence to schedules and adjust staffing levels as necessary to meet service level targets.
• 5. Implement workforce optimization tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• 6. Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and train new employees, ensuring alignment with workforce needs.
• 7. Develop and maintain accurate workforce forecasts and budgets, and provide regular reports on performance metrics.
• 8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance workforce productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• 9. Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies related to workforce management.
• 10. Serve as a subject matter expert on workforce management practices, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in workforce management, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in workforce management software and tools, such as workforce scheduling and forecasting systems.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations governing workforce management practices.
• Certification in workforce management (e.g., Certified Workforce Manager) is a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work schedules, including occasional weekends or holidays.
