We are hiring on behalf of a global leader in travel accessories with a presence in over 110 countries. Our client seeks aSenior Bookkeeper to support finance operations in the Philippines. The role will focus on full-cycle bookkeeping, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting regional finance processes. Responsibilities Maintain full and accurate bookkeeping records, including journal entries, bank transactions, and general ledger. Monitor cash flow and ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash. Generate monthly management reports, including profit & loss, balance sheet, variance analysis, and cash flow. and file local statutory requirements: BIR (VAT, 1601C, 0619E, 1701Q), SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions. Ensure accurate recording and processing of AP and AR transactions. Issue invoices and official receipts to clients and reconcile collections. Coordinate with external accountants for annual filings and compliance audits. Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely remittance of government contributions and taxes. Support inventory accounting, including reconciliation of goods in transit and landed cost accounting. Liaise with suppliers, clients, and auditors when needed. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly internal reporting packages. Qualifications Bachelors degree in accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related course. Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or full-set accounting. Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, or local BIR-accredited systems. Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and statutory requirements (BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth). High attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Must be fluent in English and Filipino.
