Copywriter Senior Specialist (Brand Management) Overview

As a key member of the Marketing Communications team under Brand Management, the Copywriter Senior Specialist crafts compelling, on-brand, and strategically aligned copy that supports brand positioning and marketing objectives. This role partners closely with creative designers, communication specialists, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure messaging consistency and creative excellence across all brand and product communications.

Functions and Responsibilities Creative Development
  • Conceptualize, write, and edit high-quality copy for integrated marketing campaigns, including above-the-line, below-the-line, digital, social, CRM, and on-ground activations.
  • Translate complex product features into compelling, consumer-friendly messaging.
  • Generate creative ideas and support campaign theme development aligned with business strategies.
  • Produce copy for both long-form (web, app, blogs, scripts) and short-form (taglines, captions, headlines, spiels).
  • Develop and enhance creative frameworks, including but not limited to brand platforms, campaign handles, and product naming.
Brand Voice & Strategy
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and tone across all communication touchpoints.
  • Refine and improve messaging frameworks to strengthen brand identity.
  • Support the development of campaign narratives that balance creativity with commercial effectiveness.
  • Work closely with art directors, designers, communication specialists, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful, fully integrated campaigns.
  • Participate in brainstorming, creative reviews, and feedback loops with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Manage multiple briefs with accuracy, timeliness, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Quality Control & Optimization
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand and regulatory requirements.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously optimize copy.
  • Stay informed about consumer trends, market insights, cultural nuances, and competitive messaging.

Job Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia, Advertising, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field, with a strong foundation for creative and strategic thinking.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in copywriting, demonstrating the ability to ideate, develop, and execute creative campaigns across various mediums.
  • Proficiency in English, Filipino, and conversational Taglish.
  • Familiarity with ASC guidelines, brand compliance standards, and digital advertising best practices.
  • Experience in Advertising & Digital Marketing Agency, Public Relations, or In-house Creative Functions is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in campaign development, execution, and management, highlighting the ability to drive results and meet objectives effectively.
  • Strong strategic comprehension and critical thinking skills, enabling the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated creativity and a keen eye for visual aesthetics, with the ability to generate unique and compelling ideas that resonate with target audiences.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English and Filipino, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in creative production, including video and photoshoot production.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
