Globally, we are leading advisors in the areas of: Non‑financial reporting advisory and assurance Climate change and energy Sustainability advisory and assurance Environment, health, and safety As we navigate the complex landscape of global energy transitions, our Energy Transition Advisory service is enabling the development of structures, services, and cross‑industry collaboration needed to advance the evolution of energy systems. Your Key Responsibilities Drive client‑related engagements in Energy Transition with the following key themes: decarbonization, renewable energy and distributed energy solutions, energy storage solutions, e‑mobility, sustainable fuels, and regulatory and policy frameworks governing them, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality advisory services and contributing to their success in attaining their energy transition goals. Guide clients in developing strategies in integrating sustainability and low‑carbon investments into their business models, governance structures, risk management, systems, and processes, ensuring a holistic approach to energy transition. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, regulatory bodies, and technology providers in the energy transition space. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including finance, legal, and engineering experts, to provide holistic solutions to clients' energy transition challenges. Co‑manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue generation, while ensuring alignment with the firm's broader strategic objectives. Contribute and support activities towards the sustained prominence of SGV’s climate change and sustainability services practice by serving as a subject matter expert on energy regulatory and policy frameworks, providing clients with strategic insights and guidance. To qualify for the role, you must have A degree in the following fields (or related disciplines): energy engineering, electrical/ mechanical/ chemical engineering, management, or economics At least 3-5 years’ professional experience working in the energy and power sector. Experience in energy regulatory, energy economics and markets, and/or renewable energy project development is highly advantageous. Advanced working knowledge of one or more of the following key themes – decarbonization, renewable energy and distributed energy solutions, energy storage solutions, e‑mobility, sustainable fuels, and the regulatory and policy frameworks governing them. Demonstrates strong understanding of the structures, policies, regulations, and market fundamentals of the Philippines’ power industry. Demonstrates strong analytical and quantitative skills to understand, analyse, interpret, and derive insight from complex quantitative data and information. Working knowledge in evaluating an energy project’s technical and financial feasibility. Experience in analysing or modelling the energy system or key component parts of it.
