Analytics Developer Profile Job Description Duties & Responsibilities Partner one-on‑one with IT INF subject matter experts for ad‑hoc data exploration sessions to uncover actionable insights from infrastructure data. Transform simple dashboard requests into deeper analytical investigations – turn "show me server uptime" into comprehensive analysis of failure patterns, root causes, and predictive insights. Hunt for patterns, anomalies, and correlations in operational data that reveal hidden opportunities and operational improvements. Utilize PowerBI and Excel as analytical thinking tools to explore data, test hypotheses, and build compelling insight‑driven visualizations. Ask probing questions to understand business context behind data requests and guide stakeholders toward more strategic data‑driven decisions. Demonstrate analytical thinking approaches to Analytics Engineers through collaborative project work and informal knowledge sharing. Document discovery processes and analytical methodologies to enable knowledge transfer and build analytical capabilities across the team. Create insight‑driven dashboards that reveal "why" behind operational patterns, not just "what" is happening. Support IT INF SMEs in understanding what their operational data is really telling them about system performance, user behavior, and business impact. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related analytical fields. Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytical roles with proven ability to uncover insights from complex datasets. Advanced proficiency in PowerBI as an analytical tool for data exploration, hypothesis testing, and insight development. Expert‑level Excel skills for quick data exploration, statistical analysis, and hypothesis validation. SQL knowledge sufficient to understand data sources, validate findings, and collaborate effectively with Analytics Engineers. Experience in pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and correlation analysis across operational or business datasets. Strong background in root cause analysis and business problem‑solving methodologies. Ability to work independently on exploratory analysis while maintaining a collaborative approach with domain experts. Fluent in English (written and oral) with ability to explain complex analytical findings to technical audiences. Personal Attributes Intellectual curiosity with genuine interest in understanding how systems work and what data patterns reveal. Strong analytical mindset with natural tendency to ask "why" and "what if" questions about business scenarios. Collaborative approach with ability to influence through expertise rather than formal authority.
