HR & Admin Executive - manufacturing industry

Key Responsibilities ( Chinese Speaking is a big advantage) 1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly production, skilled trades, and salaried positions. Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse and qualified talent pool in a competitive manufacturing landscape. Oversee and enhance the new hire orientation and onboarding process to ensure rapid integration and engagement. 2. Employee & Labor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Manage and administer the collective bargaining agreement, including grievance procedures, arbitration preparation, and contract interpretation. Foster a positive working environment and maintain union‑free status in non‑union facilities, or build strong, collaborative relationships in unionized settings. 3. Training & Development: Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs, with a focus on safety, leadership, and operational skills. Develop and implement training programs, including mandatory compliance training (Harassment, Safety, etc.). Partner with the Plant Manager to create and execute leadership development and succession planning initiatives. 4. Performance Management: Lead the annual performance review process, ensuring clarity of goals and providing constructive feedback. 5. Compensation & Benefits: Administer hourly and salaried compensation programs to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. 6. HR Compliance & Safety: Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day‑to‑day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Act as a key member of the plant safety committee, partnering with EHS to promote a world‑class safety culture. Qualifications & Experience Required: Diploma's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated experience in employee and labor relations, including handling grievances and working with collective bargaining agreements. Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including employment law, compensation, organizational design, and employee relations. Proven ability to be hands‑on, approachable, and effective on the production floor. Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred: Knowledge in local Labor law. Experience in a 24/7 operation managing a multi‑shift workforce. Bilingual skills in Chinese and English are a significant plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
