As Compliance and Employee Relations Lead, you will report to the Head of Human Resources in implementing activities related to employee relations and compliance interventions to strengthen the company’s relationship with its employees in collaboration with business units while ensuring compliance with local laws and company-specific regulations.
How you'll contribute- Monitors the company's compliance with local labor laws, affiliate, and company-specific regulations.
- Generates and prepares reports on compliance issues, risk, and applicable regulatory reports needed by requesting Business Units, Compliance, Audit, or regulatory bodies.
- Implements a fair and inclusive process to effectively manage employee risks, concerns, and grievances in compliance with employee relations policies and local labor laws.
- Evaluates and resolves human relations, labor relations, and work-related problems; meets with management to determine appropriate action.
- Provides consultation to managers on performance issue management, helping strengthen their people leadership skills to ensure robust and equitable outcomes.
- Updates, formulates, and implements employee policies and procedures, including conducting effective orientations and related learning sessions.
- Acts as the Business Unit's Auxiliary Governance Officer, coordinating with the company's governance offices (Compliance Office, Internal Audit, Risk Management) to ensure timely and satisfactory compliance with regulatory and internal requirements; supports the implementation and compliance of internal controls within the assigned unit.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations and compliance.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of legal due process administration and analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and the just and authorized causes of termination.
- Proactive with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, and ability to handle pressure.
