BarePets.com is a fast-growing, mission-driven pet food company focused on providing natural, responsibly sourced products for pets in the Philippines. We are looking for a dedicated and visionary Co-Founder to join us in revolutionizing the pet food industry through a combined digital and retail/distribution strategy. This is a unique opportunity to gain immediate equity and play a critical role in shaping the future of BarePets.com.

As a Co-Founder, you will lead business development efforts to expand our retail and distribution presence across the Philippines. You will activate your network of distributors, drive partnerships, and manage key accounts to build BarePets.com into a household name.

Minimum Requirements
  • Extensive Business Development Experience: 5–10 years in business development, specifically in retail and distribution. Experience in FMCG, particularly pet food, is highly desirable.
  • Established Networks: A proven network of distributors and contacts within the Philippines that you can activate immediately.
  • Account Management Skills: Exceptional skills in managing distributor and retailer relationships to drive growth and ensure excellent partner satisfaction.
  • Retail & Distribution Knowledge: Strong understanding of retail and distribution landscapes, including supply chain, pricing strategies, and channel management.
  • Passion for Pets: A genuine love for pets and commitment to delivering the best for pet owners.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: The ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, wearing multiple hats and driving growth initiatives with creativity and dedication.
  • Digital + Retail Vision: While our digital strategy is already in effect and led by the current team.

How They Will Spend Their Time
  • 30% Managing key retail accounts and distributors.
  • 50% Driving new business opportunities.
  • 10% Building and leading a retail and logistics team and related vendors.
  • 10% Collaborating with marketing and internal teams to drive sales of key accounts.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve year-over-year revenue growth through new business development.
  • Successfully expand into new markets or regions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with current key distributors or retail partners.
  • Reduce order fulfillment time within the first 6 months.
  • Decrease distribution and operational costs.
  • Maintain a client retention rate.
  • Recruit and onboard high-performing team members in operational roles.
