Job Description
SIEM Management & Optimization:- Administer, configure, and fine-tune SIEM solutions to enhance security visibility.
- Oversee SIEM onboarding/offboarding and asset count management.
- Apply regular patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal platform performance.
- Monitor and optimize SIEM performance to handle increasing volumes of security data effectively.
- Collect and normalize logs from various security devices for enhanced analysis.
- Manage and configure the SOAR platform according to industry best practices.
- Integrate the platform with security tools and data sources to streamline operations.
- Develop and refine playbooks to automate incident triage, enrichment, and response workflows.
- Automate security alerts prioritization based on severity and potential impact.
- Implement automated incident response actions using predefined workflows.
- Develop dashboards to visualize key SOAR metrics, including incident response times, automation success rates, and resource utilization.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years total experience in cybersecurity platform and tools management.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in SIEM administration, log management, and security automation.
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, Microsoft Sentinel) and SOAR solutions (e.g., Palo Alto XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, IBM Resilient).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize security platforms for maximum performance and threat detection.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work effectively with security teams, analysts, and leadership.
