Overview

Transportation Manager role at Amentum , pre-award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

This is a pre-award opportunity for a Transportation Manager role based on Diego Garcia. The incumbent will oversee transportation center/facilities operations of a size and scope similar to Diego Garcia, with a focus on Operational, Maintenance, and Administration areas/functions of an industrial/commercial transportation program.

Responsibilities
  • Manage transportation center/facilities operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant transportation programs.
  • Oversee Operational, Maintenance, and Administration activities related to the transportation program.
  • Provide leadership and direction for transportation operations in a complex, remote-location environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in managing transportation center/facilities of a size and scope similar to Diego Garcia.
  • Three (3) years of which must be in a Director or Manager in charge of operations.
  • Experience and proficiency in Operational, Maintenance, and Administration areas/functions of an industrial/commercial transportation program.
