1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Essential Duties And Responsibilities Design thermal solutions for heating and temperature sensing applications for gas and/or liquid delivery systems using CAD software. Leverage product/project development experience, and provide presentations to sales and operations staff. Research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of designs or applications. Collaborate with internal UCT account managers and operations staff to complete design requirements to customer specifications. Coordinate with UCT Thermal manufacturing to assist in fabrication, testing, and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications. Participate in design review meetings and follow the NPI process via MS Teams (PST). Potentially assist in customer presentations with sales and operations staff. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Personal and professional experience working with tools and manufacturing equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Customer service oriented. Proficient in CAD software – AutoDesk 3D Inventor, AutoCAD 2D, and SolidWorks. Effective working within Agile database environments. Knowledge of SAP preferred. Ability to collaborate with operations and other groups to ensure site delivery and quality issues are met. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database software. Understanding of thermal applications and material properties. Educational/Certification Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience mandatory. Work Experience 5+ years of design experience in semiconductor capital equipment, heating, or related industry. Experience with thermal management and electrical design preferred. Hands‑on experience with prototyping and testing highly desirable. Knowledge of quick‑turn, engineer‑to‑order environments. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Work may require the ability to lift 10‑20 pounds infrequently. Attend MS Teams meetings and use a computer for extended periods; meetings held in PST. Must operate successfully in a fast‑paced environment with 2‑4 week design cycles. Environmental Exposure Possible exposure to moderate noise levels from manufacturing processes. Possible exposure to silicones, fiberglass, and epoxies used in fabrication of thermal products. Overnight Travel Work may require out‑of‑town travel depending on assignments for training and meetings. Training may include 2‑3 months of extensive U.S. residence (e.g., Hayward) including fabrication, design, and testing of thermal products.
