The ideal candidate ispassionate about home automation, demonstrates strong problem-solvingabilities, and possesses hands-on experience in integrating a wide range ofsmart devices and protocols. Work Overview Designand implement smart home automation systems using Home Assistant , CrestronHome , or similar platforms. Develop,test, and maintain automation workflows and integrations (e.g., lighting,climate, AV, security). Workwith MQTT, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and IP-based protocols to integrate devices. Configuredashboards, mobile interfaces, and user experiences for homeowners. Collaboratewith internal teams on new features, system upgrades, and client needs. Providesupport for installations, configurations, and troubleshooting (remotelyor on-site as needed). Researchnew technologies and propose system enhancements for performance andreliability. Requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements 2+ years of experience in home automation engineering or related field. Strong hands-on knowledge of Home Assistant (YAML, automations, integrations). Experience with Crestron Home , Control4, Savant, or similar automation platforms. Understanding of smart home protocols: MQTT , Zigbee , Z-Wave , KNX , Modbus , etc. Ability to write and debug configuration files (YAML, JSON) and basic scripting (Python or Node-RED a plus). Familiarity with networking concepts (Wi-Fi, static IPs, port forwarding, VLANs). Good documentation and communication skills. Proactive and values teamwork and continuous learning Flexible and resilient, able to adjust operational exigencies Willingness to work onsite on a 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift and observe the UAE holiday schedule. #J-18808-Ljbffr
