Overview

Join or sign in to apply for the Salesforce Developer role at Continental. The position will be part of a global team of IT professionals under the Sales Platform Services team focused on development and support of Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions using agile methodologies.

The successful candidate will have a track record of developing and deploying Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions (B2B) and in improving processes. This role will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy solutions to business problems. The position has responsibility for Salesforce Cloud Service Software development.

Responsibilities
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple simultaneous requests and prioritize
  • Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and understand underlying needs
  • Salesforce architecture and configuration
  • Administration and app development of multiple applications (e.g., Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Field Services)
  • Integration, data management, sharing and authorization, identity, and access management
  • Salesforce application development components (e.g., APEX, LWC)
  • General project management awareness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
  • Strong support and training skills
  • Ability to comprehend business needs of users and engage accordingly
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field
  • 2-5 years of Salesforce experience
  • Experience in a multi-national, global organization
  • Prior information technology experience
  • Salesforce platform configuration and administration covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Services, CPQ, Commerce Cloud (B2B & B2C)
  • Salesforce development standards and methodologies for custom logic (APEX, LWC)
  • Application integration, sharing, and authorization rules, identity and access design
  • Data management and integration technologies/tools experience (e.g., ESB, ETL)
  • Experience in web and mobile app development, programming, and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, GitHub)
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Certified Developer)
  • Strong context-specific and adaptive communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
