Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with solid YARDI experience to join our growing Finance team in the senior living industry. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, healthcare/senior living operations, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements. Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting as needed. Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Treasury & Payroll Support: Transfer funds from property bank accounts to employer bank accounts as needed. Prepare payroll reports to determine required cash movements between accounts. Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations.
  • Bank Reconciliation & Cash Management: Perform daily cash bookings. Complete bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of transactions.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) – Yardi/Elev8 Workflow: Review and approve invoices in Elev8 workflow system. Verify proper GL coding and vendor-to-invoice matching. Assist in resolving billing issues at the property level.
  • System & Process Support: Provide support with Yardi-related accounting functions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA track a plus).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience. 3+ years YARDI experience.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting best practices.
  • Proficiency in Yardi accounting software is a must-have.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with accounting in a senior living or healthcare environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php85,000.00 per month
