Financial Sales Associate (Binondo) at Manulife Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines. The role provides life insurance solutions to the bank’s clients and works in coordination with branch, sales and service teams. The candidate should be dynamic, independent, and driven to succeed.
Responsibilities- The Financial Sales Associate is responsible for providing life insurance and wealth management solutions to China Bank's clients.
- Work closely with branch sales and service teams to provide innovative product solutions to address clients' protection, long-term savings and investment needs.
- Strengthen long-term client relationships through excellent customer service.
- Assist the Business Center in achieving sales goals and targets, including lead generation, lead conversion, account acquisition, account maintenance, repeat business, deepening and cross-selling of MCBL products.
- Prepare Monthly Sales Call Plans and Daily Sales Call Reports to ensure action plans, sales call results, client data, and other key information are recorded, reviewed and acted on. Review and adjust plans with the Area and Branch Manager. Conduct client calls, sales presentations, and other sales activities. Prepare other reports required by Management.
- Generate new account relationships, deepen existing relationships, and perform account handling and maintenance to improve account profitability and expand business.
- Maintain cordial relations with clients by addressing their financial needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare and ensure availability of documentary requirements.
- Conduct market/competitor shopping, client mapping, telesales, sales calls, and on-site product presentations for new business acquisitions, sometimes jointly with the Branch Manager.
- Promote and facilitate referrals of MCBL products and services to existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct proper Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedures and Customer Due Diligence (CDD)/Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) per client risk profile.
- Ensure daily email communications are checked and attended to.
- Attend meetings, trainings, conferences and related learning activities as required by immediate head and/or management.
- Comply with HR System (Workday Employee Self Service) requirements and other HR deliverables within deadlines.
- Complete all compliance trainings mandated by the company within deadlines. Adhere to customer protection, privacy, data handling and other regulatory requirements. Training includes product trainings and related activities to enhance product knowledge.
- Conduct policy reviews to provide quality customer experience through updates and financial advice to clients to upsell, resell, cross-sell, and generate leads. Policy reviews and after-sales service are important deliverables that lead to more business and referrals.
- Conduct post-sales service and real-time escalation of complaints to concerned units.
- Facilitate collection via ADA, over-the-counter or cheque payments.
- Plan regular leads with Branch Manager to generate quality sales leads.
- Other relevant tasks as assigned.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree.
- Work experience in bancassurance sales is highly preferred; those with sales and customer service experience from banking, transport, pharmaceutical, FMCG, hospitality and IT industries are encouraged to apply.
