Job Scope

Guide and train maintenance technicians to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on farm systems, process controllers, and equipment, ensuring the efficient running and prolonged service life of machines and equipment.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as mega-ohmmeters, voltmeters, or clamp meters to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors and other equipment.
  • Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
  • Stay on-call even during off-hours and rest days to help maintain and ensure the good running condition of all electrical equipment at all times.
  • Attend to electrical repairs and other requirements of Grow fin Farms and Poultry.
  • SAP Time confirmation from technician.
  • Conduct SAP requests for Preventive, corrective, breakdown, and other maintenance-related work orders.
  • Compliance with 5S activities & ISO 9001:200.
  • Recommend and suggest improvements (KAIZEN) as part of Department Quality Improvements activities.
  • Conduct technical trainings on repairs and maintenance standard protocols for maintenance technicians. Ensure compliance and adherence of the team on these standards by continuous random and regular audit checks on performance.
  • Attend escalations of complex or higher-level troubleshooting as required by maintenance technicians or operations team.
Food Safety
  • Complies with quality, Halal (if applicable), health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
  • Responsible for reporting problems related to the Food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
  • Other tasks:
  • Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management, etc.
  • Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications

Educational Requirement:

  • Preferably a graduate of Bachelor of Science / Vocational Course / NCII in Mechanical / Engineering, Automotive or any related courses.

Work Experience Required:

  • Must have at least 3 years experience in Diesel Engine or Generator.

Critical Skills Or Competencies Required:

  • Ability to undertake troubleshooting for plant machinery and equipment
  • Knowledge and understanding of plant technology
