Role Description The Project Officer will be responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and closure of development projects, with a focus on platform/web, and learning management systems (LMS). This individual will ensure efficient resource allocation, effective stakeholder communication, and adherence to project schedules and quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Leading individual projects from initiation to closure. Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Overseeing the day‑to‑day administration and management of the Learning Management System (LMS), with a strong preference for Moodle. Conducting market research and collaborating with stakeholders to define product requirements. Conducting thorough risk identification and mitigation planning specific to software development projects. Monitoring project progress, utilizing project management tools to track progress and identify risks. Communicating proactively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project success. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. At least 3‑5 years of proven experience in project management, specifically overseeing platform/web, or mobile application development projects. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Proficiency in agile methodologies, project management tools, and vibe coding. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of educational technology and digital learning platforms. Advantage if the applicant has certificates and/or seminars attended related to project management (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications).
