Overview

Pre-Processing and Control teams are responsible for checking the validity of a payment or customer instructions through the performance of verifications and checks in accordance with the policies of the bank before these are handed off to the concerned processing unit within Cash Operations. The team is also responsible for performing various static data maintenance and the preparation and submission of regulatory reports.

The Branch Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely, complete, and accurate processing of relevant information, including performing all relevant controls within their own area of responsibility. They undertake time-critical, complex, or regulated tasks and must ensure the timely escalation of operational, regulatory, and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Directly involved in daily monitoring and processing of the Pre-Processing queue, Control team, and Regulatory Reporting.

• Ensure accurate and timely submissions of AML, IOS/ITRS, CTR, and other regulatory reports.

• Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with the set procedures indicated in Department’s Key Operating Documents/Procedures (KOD/KOP), Service Level Agreements, to contribute to maintaining the Bank’s quality standards.

• Assist in contributing to maximizing profitability through a cost-efficient, effective, and customer-focused delivery of Cash Management products and services, to both internal and external clients.

• Ensure compliance with all the group standards and regulatory requirements. Exercise due care and diligence on matters related to Money Laundering and KYC in the day-to-day operations, which include transaction monitoring, reporting suspicious transactions, customer communication, implementing new requirements, updating, and revising operating procedures.

• Assist in the governance on the outsourced functions and ensure delivery of services within SLA.

• Proactively monitor and assist in the management of operational risks, system risks, and channel risks of the products and to highlight any potential and actual breakdown of controls via Key Process Indicators, SRMs, ERT meetings.

• Assist in developing and motivating staff through training, job rotation, and job enrichment in line with continued efforts to maintain a cohesive and competent team and ensuring optimum performance and flexibility, including planning and review of workflows.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in either Math, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business Administration, or its equivalent and preferably with experience in the banking industry.

• You will also need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with a diverse set of stakeholders.

• Proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is needed.
