As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for creating new opportunities through active prospecting, qualification, and evaluation. You will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team. This is a quota-carrying sales position.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identifying potential customers and generating leads through various channels, such as online research, cold calling, and inbound inquiries.
  2. Initiating contact with potential clients to discuss products or services, address inquiries, and provide information.
  3. Developing a deep understanding of the products or services being offered, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  4. Understanding client needs, pain points, and goals, and tailoring the sales pitch accordingly.
  5. Establishing and nurturing relationships with leads/clients to build trust and rapport, ensuring a positive client experience.
  6. Utilising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track leads, interactions, and sales progress.
  7. Monitoring and reporting on sales activities, metrics, and performance indicators such as conversion rates and client feedback.
  8. Supporting the Marketing team in executing lead generation campaigns (e.g., webinars, events, workshops).

You will work as part of the broader OpenLearning team to meet company targets, contribute to continuous improvement processes, and support the development of new products and services.

The successful candidate should have:
  1. 2-5 years of inside sales experience in SaaS, Education, or Tech-related industries; experience in early-stage companies is a plus.
  2. Problem-solving sales approach to understand client needs and suggest practical solutions.
  3. The ability to work as part of a team and to self-manage with limited resources.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
  5. A dynamic personality with a creative approach to moving deals forward.
  6. Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot is a plus.
