About Domain

The Role

The Senior Engineer drives the delivery of innovative, high-quality software by leading medium-sized projects from design to deployment. They architect scalable solutions, write and review code, and mentor junior engineers to foster continuous improvement and engineering excellence. You will work within the Agent Experience division’s Skylight Crew, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products that set new industry standards and elevate the experience of real estate professionals across Australia.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of medium-sized projects.
  • Solve complex technical challenges and ensure secure, scalable solutions.
  • Write and review high-quality, maintainable code and documentation.
  • Design with system-wide impact, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Contribute to architecture standards, system health, and tech debt resolution.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Drive collaboration within the squad and with Product Owners to align with business needs.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience designing software solutions for scale.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
  • Experience designing scalable software using TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Tech).
  • Experience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture.
