In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with technology teams and senior business stakeholders to effectively manage Technology Risk in line with our Operational Risk Management frameworks, especially within the fast-paced environments of our market-facing businesses. You will focus on risks related to trading platforms, market data systems, and other critical technologies. You will take ownership of assurance and control testing activities, including walkthroughs, reporting, and engaging with senior stakeholders. You’ll proactively identify operational issues, offer strategic advice, lead risk incident investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic projects. What you offer • Strong expertise in technology or cyber risk management, assurance, or audit, preferably within financial or professional services. • Knowledge of managing risks related to trading platforms, market data systems, and other specialized technologies is an advantage. • Proficiency in process automation, coding, and data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or SQL. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and understand abstract concepts. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence to discuss issues with business leaders and risk colleagues. • Highly motivated, adaptable, and experienced in dynamic, agile environments, with experience in equities or financial markets considered a plus.
