Position Overview

As a UI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of creating captivating user interfaces for sports scoring systems. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance user interfaces that elevate the spectator experience. If you have a passion for user-centric design and a flair for creating visually appealing interfaces, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • UI Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for sports scoring systems, including scoreboards, timers, and other related components. Collaborate with UX designers to translate user requirements into intuitive and engaging interface designs.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes to visualize and test UI concepts, gathering feedback to iterate and improve designs. Conduct usability testing to ensure the effectiveness and user-friendliness of the developed interfaces.
  • Front-end Development: Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure efficient communication between the UI and underlying systems. Develop and maintain software applications likely utilizing some of the following: C#, C++, C, TypeScript, JavaScript, Microservices, Kubernetes, AspNet Core, Azure, REST, OpenAPI, HTML 5, Angular, WPF, SQL, XML, JSON, and related technologies.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure that UI designs are responsive and compatible with various devices and screen sizes, optimizing the user experience for both desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align UI designs with overall project goals and user requirements. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages the exploration of new design trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering or Computer Science is required.
  • 6+ years industry experience in software development using an object-oriented language.
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Familiar with C#, C++, C, TypeScript, JavaScript, Microservices, Kubernetes, AspNet Core, Azure, REST, OpenAPI, HTML 5, Angular, WPF, SQL, XML, JSON, and related technologies.
